Our budding photographer

Reese loves to take photos. She thinks she's a photographer. I gave her my old camera to use and she goes around taking photos of everyone and everything. I was downloading some photos off my camera (the one she's not supposed to use) and I found these photos that she had taken when I wasn't around. It totally cracked me up that she laid her princess figurines on a pillow and was snapping photos of them. She also got a really cute shot of Ryan posing with the princesses.

Our last vacation for awhile

I'm pretty sure this is our last family getaway for awhile since baby #3 will be arriving in less than 3 months. We went to Disneyland 3 weeks ago and then Rocky Point last weekend for a wedding. It was a really nice vacation and we had tons of fun at Shauna & Erik's beautiful wedding. R&R were flower girls in the wedding and they did really good (in my opinion) for not even being 3 yet. They loved their dresses and they thought that Shauna was a real life princess.
Here is little Ryan posing on the balcony

26 weeks

I started losing count of how far along I was in the pregnancy (in weeks) so today I pulled out the calendar to remind myself. I'm 26 weeks along, but I try not to talk in weeks unless I'm talking to someone else that's pregnant. So I'm 6 1/2 months pregnant and feeling great. I took so many photos of myself pregnant with the girls and I've been bad about getting the good ol' belly shots this time around. Here is a shot that Cory took the other day and I must apologize in advance for the bikini shot with white thighs, but this is how I did it with the girls and I think the bathing suit shots showcases the belly best:

Still recovering

Ryan is still recovering from the euphoria & excitement of Disneyland. She has slept so hard for the past few days since we've been home. She has napped every day and still gone to bed so early. When she's awake she's so mellow, sucking her thumb and carrying her blanket around the house. This morning she woke up and ate breakfast and then laid on the kitchen floor for about an hour. I kept trying to get her to move and go lay down on the couch or in her bed, but she said no. Reese & I kept stepping over her and she didn't seem to mind. When I got home tonight from my board meeting Cory told me that she was in the family room around 7:30 and said, "Daddy come here". He ran over there and she said, "Can you take me to my bed?" He took her to bed and she fell asleep within minutes. Hopefully she'll recover from our weekend of fun soon :)

The happiest place on earth

We just got back from Disneyland and we had such an amazing time with the girls. We went with Cory's entire family and it was such a fun family trip. The girls did great on the rides that they could go on. The highlight of the trip was getting to meet the princesses. There is a section in the park called Princess Fantasy Fair (or something like that) and you can meet the princesses. We waited in line about 45 minutes to meet Snow White, Princess Aurora, and Cinderella. It was totally worth it because the girls ate up every second of it. They asked Snow White where the dwarfs were and asked Aurora where Maleficent and Prince Phillip were. It was a crackup to hear their answers and the girls were so enthralled. It will be fun to go back in a few years when I'm not pregnant and the girls are a bit older and can ride on more rides.

At the end of the day we were SO happy to have our double stroller!
