Happy Thanksgiving
We had a great holiday weekend this year. Lots of time spent with my family and Cory's family. Cory's grandparents came out to visit along with his aunt & uncle. The food was delicious and we all had a great time. Reese & Ryan always have so much fun playing with their 4 cousins. It's never a dull moment when there are 6 kids running around.

Belly shot
We took team photos today for the Ryan team Christmas card and I couldn't resist snapping a few photos of Cory and I together. He's was being a goofball, rubbing my belly, and cracking me up.

A sweet moment
Ryan and I were sitting on the couch this afternoon after she woke up from a catnap and she was rubbing my belly. The baby moves so much and I have been hoping that the girls will be able to feel it move, but it hasn't happened yet. Ryan wanted to touch my belly button (which is popped out like a turkey that's fully cooked) and she was playing with it and kept poking it asking me if it tickles. She said, "Is the baby ready to come out yet?" I said not yet and asked her if she wanted the baby to come soon. She said, "Not yet, it's not ready yet. It needs to stay in longer". I told her she was right and that he/she would be here soon enough.

Boy or girl?
We’re taking guesses. Does it look like a girl or a boy? It looks WAY better than when we had a 3-D ultrasound of the girls. We laugh that they looked like squished fish because they were so crowded. This baby looks pretty adorable. Can't wait to meet him/her.

Three year old stats
We visited Dr. Matsumoto yesterday for the girls' three year well check and they are doing awesome! Ryan is 37.5 inches tall, 31.2 lbs, and has a BMI of 15.6. Reese measured 37 inches tall, weighed 30.8 lbs, and a BMI of 15.8. They were able to take Reese's blood pressure (86/52), but Ryan was too squirmy. The doctor had the girls hop on one foot and bend over to touch their toes. She asked if they were speaking in full sentences (yes), riding a tricycle (yes), and potty trained (yes). We didn't have to get any vaccinations this time which was really nice. Dr. M said that it's usually really easy to bring a new baby home to twins because they don't have any memory of being alone so there probably won't be any resentment towards the baby. She also said not to be surprised or get upset if one or both is not interested in the baby. I think they'll be great with the baby and it really wasn't something that crossed my mind, but it was nice to have her reassurance.

Happy Birthday, Reese & Ryan!!!
It is hard to believe that our baby girls are three years old. They are the most amazing children and every day with them is full of joy. We love you girls so much and are grateful every day for the love and laughter you have brought into our lives!
We had a really fun birthday weekend for the girls, including a princess party with dress up attire and a princess bounce house. The girls had so much fun with their cousins and friends!

30 weeks
I am backdating this entry because I'm a blog slacker but life has been really hectic lately. I'm about 2 weeks behind on writing. I'm writing this on 11/17 but these photos were taken on 11/11, right after my 30 week appointment. There is a big difference from my 26 week photos a month ago. I'm anxious to see how big baby Whyte will be. I've gained 20 lbs. so far, but that # will surely creep up to 30lbs. by the time it's all over :)

Our first trip visit to the dentist
We had our first visit to the dentist and the girls did SO great!! They sat in the chair and watched an intro video about what to expect and then Ryan went first. Dr. Steiner checked out her teeth, counted all of them (20), and even used the polisher. Reese was next and she was a little more serious but warmed up towards the end . They gave the girls a teddy bear to hold and when it was all over they got new princess toothbrushes and toothpaste. Now when we brush our teeth every morning and night they say, "Dr. Steiner wants us to brush our teeth!"

Halloween
Halloween was so much fun this year. It was really the first year that the girls were into it and could actually trick or treat for an extended period of time. Reese dressed up as a bat and Ryan was a witch. We bought a $6 cape for Reese and cut out bat wings and tied rubber bands to the end of the cape so she could lift her bat wings. Ryan wore her witch costume that we had bought from Mystique. It looked so cute with the witch hat, but she really didn't want to keep it on all night. Cory painted both their faces and they loved it!! Romelo & Haley came over dressed as Hannah Montana and the Grim Reaper. It was such a great night!!
