Ryan Team CAP party

We had the Ryan Team Client Appreciation party today and we couldn't have asked for a better day.  The weather was perfect, the food was good, & the company was wonderful.  We are so blessed to have such amazing clients, friends, & family surrounding our team.  Mother Nature's Farm was the perfect place to host the party and I'm already looking forward to next year.

I only snapped a few photos because the main goal was keeping track of Ryder boy.  Tell you what--chasing after him is a full time job.

Here is my cousin, Carrie & her daughter, Cambrie.
Ryder was pretending to eat the carrots that we were feeding to the animals.  Silly boy!

Love the wooden cutouts.

The corn maze is always a hit.

Reese was having a blast climbing up the dirt hill and running on top of the hay bails.
Ryan's top tooth fell out right before we got to the party.  She is a full fledged jack-o-lantern!
I adore that gap toothed smile.

Fall trip to Mexico

Our blog is in need of some major updates.  I'm starting with the most recent and trying to work backwards for the past month.

We just got back from Mexico and as usual, had the best time.  The weather was perfect, the beach was beautiful, and we just relaxed and hung out as a family. We kept the Rocky Point economy thriving with the following purchases: 6 bracelets for the girls (3 each), 5 bracelets for their friends, 3 beach dresses, 5 pairs of sunglasses, 2 silver rings, a truck & ukulele for Ryder, braids for the girls, & a 45 min massage on the beach for mama.  They could smell the gringos and their money coming!  I busted out some of my Spanish for some tip top negotiations on our purchases.

The Ryan team retreat was Saturday night and I didn't get many photos of that because we were chasing Ryder around the entire night and that's not an exaggeration.  Keep that kid out of trouble and danger is my full time job and I think that's why I feel so behind in life.  He is the most fun but he runs me ragged some days :)  Anyhoo, here are the latest photos of our fun vacay:
We ALWAYS get the hair braided.

Love playing in the sand.  Mimi brought Roxy down and she had fun frolicking on the beach.

Reese is starting to look like a full fledged Jack-o-lantern. She's lost 4 bottom teeth (another post on that to come) and the top two middle ones are vewy vewy loose!

I'm always so surprised at how patient they are to sit there while this stranger is braiding their hair.

 Sassy little Ryboo!

I was trying to figure out when I took the photo below and then realized that Ryan stole my camera and was taking photos of Reese.  They were playing 'fort' underneath the draped 8' tables at the party.  So hilarious!

Ryder's cheeseball smile is too much!  It's SO him right now.
I see that face all the time, especially when he wants something he knows he's not supposed to have.

Our sweet family of five :)

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving day with our families.  I'm so grateful that our families live close and we get to share these special day with everyone.  We spent the morning with the Whytes and had a delicious breakfast feast.  The kids spent Thanksgiving Eve at Grandma & Grandpa's house and they had so much fun playing with their cousins.  Cory & I were so thankful for a fun evening out together on Wednesday and enjoyed sleeping in a bit in the morning.  It was a much needed break for us and we love G&G for taking on 7 kids for a sleepover.

I love this shot of the four girls.  The big girls are both holding their hands out, trying to get Ryder to come to them.  I have no idea what Reese & Ryan are staring at on the ground but it must be interesting.
The Whyte family all together.

My family came over in the afternoon and we ate turkey and the fixins around 4.  I was busy in the kitchen so I didn't get any good photos of us together.  My husband managed to capture these 2 lovely shots.

Trick or Treat

This Halloween was pretty amazing for a few reasons:

1) The kids are all into it--dressing up, trick-or-treating, picking out pumpkins.  They are at such a great age right now for all of it.
2) We left the weekend before Halloween and missed out on 3 parties on Saturday.  I was sad to not see our friends, but oh so delighted that we didn't run ourselves ragged all over town, dragging our kids from party to party.  Instead we were out of town for wonderful weekend and arrived back just in time for the Halloween festivities.
3) Our kids could care less about the candy they received.  We sorted it out and I took all the chocolate for me, took a huge bag to the office, and threw the crappy junky stuff away.  I felt bad throwing stuff in the trash but there's not much else for me to do with it.  If you have any ideas for next year let me know.  Three kids trick-or-treating = waaaay too much candy.

Pumpkin Patch

The girls' class took a trip to a pumpkin patch and we snapped some really cute photos.  It was HOT and not really feeling like a fall day, but we still had a great time.  I had fun chatting with some of the other moms while the kids played.  We're always in and out picking up the kids and it's usually so hectic in the hallway.  I really enjoy the moms and kids in their class this year.  We're so blessed to be at such a wonderful preschool.

Pinetop

We just got back from Pinetop and had an amazing weekend.  The weather was gorgeous and we spent so much time outside.  We rented a cute little cabin that had an adorable front porch and grass in the front yard where the kids could play.  I love getting away for a vacay with my family.  We have so much fun when it's just the five of us.

The girls loved this wooden bear that sat on the front porch.  His sign said "Welcome" on one side and "Go Away!" on the other side.  When we would head out for the day they would turn the sign to "Go Away!" so no one would bother our cabin.  Hilarious!
