Redesign

Our little redesign in the family room/kitchen area is done and I'm really excited about the outcome.  Below are some before and after photos to check out.  The changes are subtle but it really makes our house feel warm, cozy, and kind of like a grown ups house now :)

I still have more plans for this room but everything must be done in baby steps.  I want to buy a new stand that the TV sits on, something in a darker color OR have something custom built. The walls will soon be painted darker, kitchen cabinets stained darker (noticing a theme here?), and granite countertops installed.  As I mentioned, these are my dreams for the kitchen and family room and I know they will happen over time since we are staying here for awhile but it may take the next few years to complete it all.
